Thanks to everyone who helped out with our Silver - 25th Reunion!!  It was great getting everyone together again and we hope that everyone that came out enjoyed themselves and had a great time.

WARREN CLEMMONS -  

WATSON WALKERTOWN - Danny Preston Watson, 45, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2011. He was born September 4, 1965 in Forsyth Co. to Willard Preston and Leona Walters Watson. Danny attended Abundant Grace Tabernacle, and was a graduate of East Forsyth High School class of 1983. He was a long time employee of Rainbow Print and Copy, currently employed with Lowe's Hardware in Kernersville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Melanie Callahan Watson; and his brother, Kenneth Wayne Watson. In addition to his parents, surviving are two sisters, Barbara Tuttle (Ronald) of Kernersville, and Kathy Nance (Elmer) of Clemmons; step-children, Dwayne Hill (Nancy), Kelly Hodges (Jason); four nieces, Stephanie Tuttle, Meredith, Heather, and Lindsay Nance; and one nephew, Patrick Tuttle (Allison). A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Mike Jefferson and Rev. Tim Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the funeral home. TILLEY WINSTON-SALEM - Shari Ann Spencer Tilley, 45, passed away Monday, January 3, 2011. She was born in Forsyth County, January 6, 1965 to Terry L. Spencer and Brenda Q. Rumple. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Ricky Tilley and son, Brandon Tilley. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. McKNIGHT WALKERTOWN - David M. McKnight, 45, of Walkertown died Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

THOMAS BELEWS CREEK - Micki Lynn Neal Thomas, a devoted wife and mother, 44 passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at her home.  She was born October 13, 1965 in Forsyth Co. to Jesse Joe Neal and the late Jo Ann Hester Neal.  Micki was a member of Walkertown First Baptist Church.  She was a hairdresser for 26 years, the last 14 years she was employed by Trendsetters.  In addition to her father of Walkertown, surviving are her husband, David Lee Thomas, Jr.; her son, Cody and daughter, Erin, all of the home; two brothers, Mark Neal and wife, Rhonda of Rural Hall, Mike Neal of Walkertown; one sister, Melanie Harmon and husband, Jason of Walkertown; and several nieces and nephews.  A Memorial Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2009 at Walkertown First Baptist Church with the Rev. Phil Wagoner officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the Church.  Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the Thomas family.

TONEY KERNERSVILLE - Alan Toney, 44, died Sunday October 11, 2009. Cryptside Services will be held at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. A native of Forsyth County, he was the son of the late Phyllis Anne Pegg and Jack Reed Toney. He was a graduate of East Forsyth High School Class of 1983. Alan was a partner with his father, Jack Toney, in Toney Plumbing Company. Survivors include his daughter Tiffany Grace Toney of Cullowhee; father Jack Toney of Kernersville; sister Robin Davis and her husband Lewis of Greensboro. Kirk Vernard "Sky Walker" Scales who graduated with us in 1983 passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2005.  Kirk had a massive heart attack and leaves behind a wife, 4 sons and 4 daughters.  For those of you who live out of town and want to view that article, go to www.journalnow.com and click on the obituaries link on the left of the screen.  Please keep Kirk's family in your thoughts and prayers in the coming days.
